Tiffany's POV: I was stood in front of the mirror, wearing a short pink dress with a belt, and heels. This was a first for me. The heels were terribly high and wobbly, and I struggled to walk properly. But it was worth it just to impress Nick. Layers of make-up covered my face, which was unrecognisable. I had made sure that my mascara was waterproof, just in case. "Wow," My Mom said. Uh oh. "Wow, Tiffany, you look gorgeous. Why on earth do you decide to dress up now when you could've done that at the prom back home? Aww, my baby's growing up!" She wrapped her arms around me and giggled. "Thanks, Mom," I said. "Wait a minute, why are you dressed up tonight? I told you you couldn't go to the concert!" she cried. "No, Mom," I said. "I'm not going to the concert, I'm just practicing for dates and stuff." "Dates? You have a boyfriend? I want to meet him!" she cried. "He's not my boyfriend yet, Mom," I laughed. "But, I'm hoping..." "Baby, don't get your hopes up," she told me. "You know what you're like afterwards. I don't want him to make you cry." "I'll be fine," I told her. "Well, bye," she said, already halfway out the door. There was a knock on the door. I smoothed out my dress, perfected my hair and smiled. My hand grasped the doorknob and pulled it open. There were Joe, Nick and Kevin, all dressed up for a concert.
