Joe's POV I can do this, I can do this, I can do this. Just ask her if she was to go to lunch tomorrow. It's easy. I took a deep breath and walked over to Demi, Selena, and Nicki. I tapped Demi's shoulder. She turned, and her beautiful smile was on her face. I had to remind myself to continue breathing. She was so amazing. "Can I talk to you?" I asked her. "Sure," she said. She waved off the other two, and Nicki smiled at me. We walked a little ways away from the stage, in a comfortable silence. We wondered to the back of the venue and sat down on a row of seats. My heartbeat was fast, and I had butterflies in my stomach. "So, what's up?" Demi asked me. I turned to face her, and she did so too. "I was wondering if, um..." I said. Come on Joe, you stupid idiot. Ask her! "I was wondering if maybe you'd want to go to lunch with me tomorrow?" "You mean like a date?" she asked me. Oh no, she doesn't want to go out with me.
